VS 2010 Detect system board speaker beep

Hi all,

Is there any way of detecting when the system board speaker is used?

I'm using a piece of software that when it alerts out it sends a beep continuously to the system board speaker to warn the user of an event.

Basically I want to make a program that detects this and then put a Then statement after it so I can make it do something when it beeps. There is only one tone and this is all the system board speaker is used for (other than bios/post warnings).
