Not a valid Win32 Appliation

i created a small billing software for my friend, the software is connected to an 2007 MS Excel File. Everything was complete and i copied the .exe file from my laptop to his computer. But it did not work in his, it works fine in my laptop.
It is showing the following error,
"MySoftware.exe is not a valid Win32 Application"
What should i do??
